'SVSC' set for Jan 11 release Brushing speculations that his production 'Seethamma Vakitlo Sirimalle Chettu' (SVSC) has been postponed again from the original date of January 11, producer Dil Raju, in a media conference in Hyderabad, said that the film is on course for a Jan 11 release world-wide.
Said Raju, 'Since the release date is turning out to be on Amavasya, we are planning for premier shows all across on Jan 10. Our banner is completing 10 years in the industry and I am ecstatic with the fact that I've produced a film by bringing two biggest superstars together.'
Saying that the film completely caters to family audience and that women from parts like Kakinada, Vizag and Nellore are asking for special shows, Raju added, 'It's a treatment based story about two brothers played by Venkatesh and Mahesh Babu.
Their characters are etched in a way that they will connect to every family. Mani Sharma has provided the re-recording for the film and we are currently in the post-production. The film's duration is 2 hours 35 minutes.'
He also said that platinum disc function of the film will be held on January 16 and that he has no such plans like going for a DTH release before its theatrical release.
'Just because Kamal Haasan is doing it, it doesn't mean that we should repeat it,' he asserted. The film is slated to go to censors early next week for a certification.
