SVSC faces last minute jitters It has not been a smooth sailing for producer Dil Raju with his ambitious multi-starrer 'Seethamma Vakitlo Sirimalle Chettu' (SVSC).
After the movie witnessed two release postponements last year, Raju who couldn't get the film for a censor viewing since late last week has finally breathed a sigh of relief.
It is reliably learnt that the team of 'SVSC' on Monday has presented a rough copy to regional censor board officer Dhanalaxmi which didn't go well with her.
She, going by the industry insiders, has asked the makers to present the final copy on Tuesday to get a certification.
With no choices left considering that the stage is set for a global release of the film on January 11, Raju who has been hovering around for the past one week due to the post-production of the film and monitoring his new flick with NTR which went to floors last Friday, had to bow to Dhanalaxmi's demands.
The Examining Committee watched the flick on Tuesday morning and gave it a clean 'U' certificate in the noon without any cuts.
And after obtaining a clearance from the censor board, Raju had ordered his troops to go lock, stock and barrels to get the job done of printing the films and dispatching them to overseas where grand premiers are organised on January 10 itself.
Delays in abroad premiers would have cost Raju a hefty sum. With 'Vishwaroopam' pulling out of the Sankranthi race in the last-minute, Raju is expected to get more screens to accommodate the buzz surrounded his production.
The lead cast which includes the likes of Venkatesh, Mahesh Babu, Anjali and Samantha will begin promoting the flick once it hits the screens.
