Kamal firm on DTH release
Chennai, January 9 (INN): Veteran film star Kamal Hasan has said that there is no change in the decision of beaming his magnum opus Vishwaroopam through DTH (Direct To Home) along with theatres.
The film was supposed to hit the screens on January 11 but was postponed for various reasons. Kamal's decision to screen the film through DTH has stirred the Pandora's Box and other producers are worried if the trend catches on.
However, Kamal stuck to his guns and said there is no change in plans of beaming it through DTH. The multi-lingual film in Hindi, Tamil and Telugu will be released simultaneously worldwide.
DTH is available Mumbai and Chennai but the producers are not able to judge as to how to get the collections if it is released through satellite channels. The changed date of release of the film will be announced soon, he said.
