Ram Charan pitches for cricket
After trying his hand in Polo, heartthrob Ram Charan is pitching for cricket. He is all set to play the game in the season three of the Celebrity Cricket League which is scheduled from February 9.
Charan will play for Telugu Warriors. The team comprising twenty members is helmed by actor Daggubati Venkatesh.
Here is the list of the team: Venkatesh, Srikanth, Tharun, Ram Charan, Nitin, Raghu, Ajay, Rajiv Kanakala, Nikhil, Kartheek, Samrat, Aadarsh, Prince, Nandakishore, Vishwa, Harsha, Sunny, Teja, Giri and Aditya.
With few seasoned cricketers, the announced team looks like a much stronger team. There are eight contenders in the tournament.
The opening ceremony of season three of CCL will take place on Feb 9 in Kochi,Kerala, in a grand way.
The first match for Telugu Warriors is on Feb 10 with Bengal tigers as opponents and the match will take place in Bengal.
The final will be held in Bangalore on March 10. Let's hope the Telugu Warriors team goes on to win the tournament this time around.
