Priyamani to shake a leg with SRK
After her commercial successes in Kannada films like Raam, Ko Ko, Anna Bond and Only Vishnuvardhana, National Award winning actress, Priyamani seems to be setting her eye on Bollywood.
Having played small roles in Raavan and Rakta Charitra II, this time she chose to do a special appearance in Rohit Shetty's Chennai Express.
Apparently the actress was chosen over Anushka Shetty, Samantha Prabhu, Shriya Saran, Shruti Hassan, Nayantara and few other heroines to shake a leg with Bollywood Badshah, Shahrukh Khan.
'There is a lot of excitement and I am looking forward to shoot for the song,' she said. The actress had met Shahrukh long time ago at the Goa film festival but this will be the first time that she will be working with the star. 'I might have butterflies in my stomach, the moment I am on the sets with him,' said Priyamani.
This would her first item song for a Hindi film. 'There is no apprehension in accepting this special song but I will not jump to be part of every other item number. Though I have not heard the story, I feel it is different.
Moreover, the story of Chennai Express travels South with Bollywood's prominent personalities,' she explained.
Apart from this, Priyamani is currently busy with two Telugu films, Angulika and Chandi directed by Samudra. 'I have not yet signed a new project in Kannada,' she said.
