T' Wood bless Bellamkonda Sreenivas
Actors, Venkatesh, Srihari, Gopichand, Siddharth and Sunil were under one roof on Friday morning in Hyderabad to bless producer Bellamkonda Suresh's son, Sreenivas, who is foraying into Tollywood with director VV Vinayak's untitled venture.
The film was launched at Annapurna studios with veteran Dasari Narayana Rao sounding the clapboard for the first shot which was directed by another veteran K Raghavendra Rao.
Venkatesh switched on the camera. A family entertainer with Vinayak's trademark elements of action and entertainment, Samantha is roped in to romance the newbie.
Dasari said that it's for the first time that he sat in a press meet after clapping for the muhurat shot.
'Bellamkonda is my family and I had to attend the launch to bless his son. He is not only a top producer in the industry, but brought a top director on board to helm his son's launch pad,' said Dasari.
Vinayak said that Bellamkonda is a producer who never makes films on calculations but due to passion. 'I started my career through 'Aadhi' with Lakshmi Narasimha productions.
Rather taking this film as my next project, I feel it as a responsibility. Sreenivas has been training for the past four years and I expect him to reach the scales that his father reached,' said Vinayak.
Suresh said that his son should come up on his own talent and since that he got a director like Vinayak helming his film; he should make full use of it.
'I've attained a rough character in the industry and I want my son to be the way Vinayak is,' said an emotional Bellamkonda.
Writer Akula Siva, cameraman Chota K Naidu, producer Dil Raju and actor Srihari too spoke at the event. While the details about the shoot are awaited, Devi Sri Prasad has been roped in to compose the soundtrack of the film.
