Shruti not on Baahubali
Ever since SS Rajamouli unveiled his plans of making a period drama titled Baahubali, there have been several rumours floating around about its cast and crew.
For now, Prabhas, Rana and Anushka have been signed up to play the lead roles in the film and for the longest time there was a big question over who's going to be the second actress in the film, apart from Anushka.
Recently, a section of media reported that SS Rajamouli is in talks with Shruti Haasan for one of the lead roles in the film.
However, both Shruti Haasan and SS Rajamouli have categorically denied these rumours. 'shruthi hassan being roped in to act in baahubali is false news.We haven't approached her for any role.(sic),' SS Rajamouli posted on Twitter.
Even Shruti Haasan is amused hearing these reports about her signing Baahubali. 'I'm not part of Baahubali. I don't know how these rumours started even though I'm currently busy with five films,' said Shruti Haasan.
She's currently in Hyderabad where she's shooting for her upcoming film Balupu. Ravi Teja is the lead actor in Balupu and Anjali is the other actress. After wrapping up the ongoing schedule of Balupu, Shruti Haasan will join the shoot of Ram Charan starrer Yevadu.
Apart from these two films, Shruti Haasan will also be seen in Prabhu Deva's Ramaiya Vasta Vaiya, Nikhil Advani's D Day and NTR's upcoming film under Harish Shankar's direction.
