Yevadu first look on Charan's b'day
There is no inking of when Ram Charan-starrer 'Yevadu' which has been in the shooting for more than an year will hit the cinema halls. However, producer Dil Raju who is known to release first look his films coinciding with his lead stars' birthday (Remember Mahesh's look of 'SVSC' on his birthday), is believed to have asked his team to prepare the first look and teaser of 'Yevadu' so that he can release it on Charan's birthday on March 27.
The action-entertainer directed by Vamsi Paidipally sees Shruti Haasan and Amy Jackson playing Charan's romantic interests. Allu Arjun and Kajal Aggarwal are also roped in to play significant parts. On the lines of Hollywood entertainer 'Face Off', the project has musical renditions by Devi Sri Prasad.
Meanwhile, word on the street is that Cherry has signed on the dotted line to feature in a film to be directed by Gopi Ganesh who has earlier assisted ace director Puri Jagannadh. He is presently involved in wrapping up his maiden venture, 'Puri Raasina Premakatha'.
Gopi, it appears to have approached the 'Naayak' star through producer KS Ramarao. Impressed with the narrative skills of Gopi, Charan is said to have allocated dates for the film. Ramarao whose last venture 'Dammu' failed to set the cash registers ringing, is tipped to produce the flick on his Creative Commercials banner.
Although an official announcement regarding this is expected, the project will take off once Charan wraps up 'Yevadu' and Hindi-Telugu bilingual 'Zanjeer'. Seems like a busy year for Charan, just like last year.
