Balakrishna's Ruler to start in May
To be produced by Ram Achanta, Gopichand Achanta and Anil Sunkara under the banner 14 Reels Entertainment, Balakrishna-starrer 'Ruler' (tentatively) will go to floors from mid-may.
The actor who took a break from acting after his last slew of ventures fail to strike gold at the box-office will be seen essaying a powerful role in the film, to be directed by Boyapati Srinu. He had earlier helmed the actor's successful action-drama 'Simha'.
The film, currently in pre-production phase, is scheduled to release around Lok Sabha election in 2014.
"Since it's a political film, the makers want to release it appropriately during the election time next year," a source said. The other cast and crew are yet to be finalised.
