Dasari to make films with Manchu kids Featuring Taapsee Pannu, Lakshmi Manchu, Aadi and Sundeep Kishan in lead roles, 'Gundello Godari', a Lakshmi Manchu production, after witnessing numerous delays will finally be making its way to the exhibition halls today on account of International Women's Day.
Triple Platinum disc of the audio, composed by Maestro Ilayaraja, was held in Hyderabad on Wednesday evening and attending the do include directors Dasari Narayana Rao, K Raghavendra Rao, B Gopal besides Mohan Babu and the cast and crew of the film.
Dasari, the chief guest said that he will be making films with Mohan Babu's three children in the near future. 'Vishnu, Lakshmi and Manoj inherited the discipline of Mohan Babu.
Though they are yet to make inroads into the industry, I've seen them working, going all out like Mohan Babu. Down the lane, I will not only make films with them, but will also cross 200 films as a director. I won't stop.'
Heaping praise on the cast of the film and the film in particular, Dasari who watched the film in a private screening said, ''Gundello Godari' is the answer for people who question that we don't make good movies anymore. It's a Telugu film to the core.
I was spell bound after watching the first two reels of the film. Since I hail from Godavari region I was a spectator to the river in its disturbing form and watching a flood episode from the film I got goose bumps.'
Mohan Babu, in a humorous speech, said that he is no more interesting in predicting how many days a film will run. 'After I encountered flops, my family members advised me to refrain from such words.
However, having watched 'Gundello Godari', which was shot beautifully, Lakshmi will win all Indian awards related to films. The kind of love that East Godavari people (place where the film was shot) showered on Lakhsmi itself will make the film a winner,' expressed Mohan Babu.
Lakshmi urged people not to watch the film on pirated versions. 'I would rather ask people not to watch my film than to encourage piracy. By encouraging piracy, some people are killing artists indirectly.'
The event also witnessed Dasari handing over the platinum mementoes to the cast and crew of the film. Celebs like Manchu Manoj, Paruchuri Gopalakrishna, MM Keeravani, director Srivas and actress Karthika Nair too were spotted at the gathering.
