Case against audio functions
Close on the heels of DGP Dinesh Reddy telling Tollywood that permission needs to be taken for film audio launch functions, a complaint was lodged with Lok Ayukta about the lack of security measures during such functions.
One person died in the stampede during the audio launch of Jr NTR starrer film Baadshah at a studio in Nanakramguda. The petitioner told the Lok Ayukta that no proper security arrangements were being made during the audio release functions.
He urged the Lok Ayukta to direct the police to ensure all precautionary measures.
