Sid's Something with Hansika Siddharth and Hansika, the Jodi of 'Oh My Friend' have united again for a new film titled 'Something Something'. It is progressing at a brisk pace in the outskirts of Hyderabad.
Noted Tamil director Sundar C, who directed 'Arunachalam' with Rajinikanth in the lead, is wielding the megaphone for the project. Tipped to be a funny love story, B Subramanyam, noted for distributing the films under reputed Lakshmi Ganapathi Films banner, is turning into producer with the film. Brahmanandam plays a significant role.
Siddharth said, 'I'm happy that 'Something Something' title is taken from the song of my earlier film 'Nuvvostanante Nenoddantana'. The movie started in January.
We've shot major portions of the film in Hyderabad and Chennai and are planning to go to Japan in April for a song. Brahmanandam, who plays a love guru, will be seen advising me. He's got more footage than me.'
Hansika said that the film has shaped up very well and that she is looking forward for the release of the film.
Producer B Subramanyam added, 'We're venturing into production for the first time and are leaving no stone unturned to give the film a grand shape.'
Director Sundar C said, 'Though I got offers to direct a Telugu film earlier, I refrained from grabbing them. But the wait has finally paid off with 'Something Something'.'
Satya of 'Journey' fame is scoring the music while Gopi cranks the camera. The makers of the film are planning to release it in May.
