New twist in Anjali episode
There's a new twist to the tale of actress Anjali with Bharathi Devi claiming that she is not her step-mother.
The controversy surrounding the harassment faced by Anjali took a new turn within hours after Anjali made a public statement against Bharathi Devi.
Bharathi Devi claimed that the actress is her sister's daughter. On the other hand Director Kalanjiyam is expected to sue the actress for defamation and false allegations.
She also revealed that Anjali's mother is working abroad. "I adopted Anjali when she was 15 years old and since looked after her like my own daughter," Bharathi Devi said.
When asked about Anjali's statement that she was used like an ATM machine, Bharathi Devi asked: "When Anjali has earns in lakhs, how can we take away crores from her?"
She also said that she only accompanied her as Anjali was not in the pink of her health. "But she always insisted on going out alone, " she added.
Anjali has been given a private room at her house where she spends most of her time. Bharathi Devi said that, "I never intrude into her private space.I am trying to reach her on her personal number, but it's switched off. In fact, I am worried about her whereabouts."
