Boyapati to direct Charan Director Boyapati Sreenu, known for hard-hitting commer cial entertainers like `Bhadra', `Tulasi' and `Simha', celebrated his birthday yesterday. The director met the media persons to speak about his latest film `Ruler' with superstar Balakrishna among other things.
Stating that 'Ruler' will have political touches, he said, 'The characterisation of the Balayya is finalised. Fans will get to see a slim Balayya. The script is almost over, but we are still working to achieve perfection.
More than politics it will be an emotional movie to the core.' The director, this time, may not team up with his favourite Nayanatara.
'She earned a good name in 'Tulasi' and 'Simha.' If I repeat her again, comparisons are bound to prop-up. The leading lady alongside Balayya will be revealed in days to come,' he said.
As opposed to a film with Mahesh Babu, the director will be working with Ram Charan after completing 'Ruler' which is planned for a January release next year. 'My next film will be with Ram Charan. The script has been finalised. Charan and Chiranjeevi garu liked it. It will start early next year and will be a love story,' he revealed.
Quiz about him his birthday plans?
'I'm pre-occupied with the pre-production of 'Ruler'. Just like my other birthdays it will be a 'routine' this time too,' he said.
