TV actor held for assaulting wife
Actor Bhargav of Mogali Rekulu, the popular Telugu soap, was reportedly taken into custody by the police for assaulting his estranged wife Anjali on sets. However, he was let off soon after.
According to sources, Anjali, also an actress and part of the TV serial, had approached the Banjara Hills Police a few days ago and lodged a complaint against Bhargav, stating that he had thrashed her during filming at a house in Banjara Hills.
The police reportedly took Bhargav into custody and questioned him. However, the Banjara Hills police said they did not register a case as Anjali had already approached the court seeking divorce from Bhargav.
Anjali and Bhargav were married 11 months ago but disputes soon broke down the marriage.
