When Pawan trusted YVS calibre
It's an industry that runs on success and people are judged on the same basis. Luckily for director YVS Chowdary it was the belief that superstar Pawan Kalyan had on him that gave him an opportunity to launch Pawan's nephew, Sai Dharam Teja even after one of his films turned out to be a dud at the box-office.
Said YVS, 'During the scripting of `Rey', my film `Saleem' released to a lukewarm response. I left a message to Pawan Kalyan saying that he can re-consider his options on who will helm `Rey'.
However, Pawan's response to YVS gave the filmmaker the much-needed drive. The message read like this; I saw your message about your concern. It is not success that matters.
It is the commitment to the cause you believe in that really matters. I go by one's character. I believe in your commitment and your confidence towards life and always I will be there and I will stand by you.'
