Manchu Lakshmi got thrown off in water
Actress Lakshmi Manchu, who has recently signed up an English production titled `Basmati Rice,' had a bad experience while she was rowing on a canoe in the backwaters of well-known Alappuzha in Kerala.
She was accompanied with another actor when her canoe upturned. Lakshmi said that she had to swim for more than a kilometre and at last a fishing boat saved her.
She divulged this incident through twitter. 'Was on a canoe ride at the Alappuzha lake and our canoe flipped over and we were thrown off. We couldn't get on the boat. Had to swim more than a kilometre. Was quite scary not knowing what was in the water. Snakes r a common sight there,' she tweeted.
