Pawan's film rights set all time record
While the film `Attarintiki Dharedhi' (rumoured title) with Power star Pawan Kalyan in the lead, is still in the pro duction, it has already created ripples in the market and cashing on the films positive vibes is a leading entertainment channel which brought the telecast rights of the flick for a whopping Rs 9 crore, it is buzzed.
It amounts to be the highest rate for a Telugu flick till date surpassing the previous best of `Seethamma Vakitlo Sirimalle Chettu' which was brought for Rs 7.25 crore by the same channel.
The reason for the high price, we hear, is due to the crazy combination of actor Pawan Kalyan and writer turned-director Trivikram Srinivas, who are uniting after the successful `Jalsa' five years ago. `Attarintiki Dharedhi' is currently being shot at Europe.
It is also heard that the channel has acquired the rights of Gopichand-starrer `Sahasam' which is produced by `Attarintiki Dharedhi' producer BVSN Prasad in association with Reliance Entertainment, for a fancy prize.
