Pawan gets best actor award
Pawan Kalyan bagged the best actor award for his performance in 'Gabbar Singh' at the CineMAA awards 2013 held in Hyderabad. Allu Arjun accepted the award on behalf of Pawan Kalyan who is in Europe shooting for his film 'Attarintiki Dharedhi' (tentative title) with Trivikram Srinivas.
Best Actor'Gabbar' Singh also gave its director Harish Shankar and producer Bandla Ganesh best director and best producer trophies. Other big winner of the event was superstar Nagarjuna who was adjudged as the best actor male (Jury) for his performance in 'Shirdi Sai'. The film has also bagged best movie (jury) award.
Actress Samantha was conferred with best actress trophy for her performance in SS Rajamouli's 'Eega'. It also won an award in the visual effects category.
Actor Suriya who was the special guest of the evening was awarded the best actor (Tamil) for his performance in 'Maatran' (Brothers in Telugu) while his leading lady in the film, Kajal bagged best actress (Tamil) for her show in 'Thuppaki'. The awards will be televised on MAA very soon.
