Cops say no to Ram Charan film audio function The Cyberabad police Friday refused permission for a function to be held to release the audio CD of Ram Charan Tej's new flick, 'Yevadu' in the city on June 30 but asked the organisers to submit details of the function hall, its seating capacity, parking place, etc.
It is reported that the organisers approached the police Friday and sought permission orally to organise the audio release event at Madhapur.
A senior police officer told that when the organisers submitted a written letter seeking permission furnishing the complete details of the event, police would consider giving the permission.
In the wake of a stampede that claimed the life of a fan of Jr NTR during the audio release of Baadshah, cops imposed restrictions on film functions.
'Yevadu' is an upcoming Telugu film written and directed by Vamsi Paidipally and has Ram Charan Tej, Shruti Haasan and Amy Jackson in lead roles. The film was launched on December 9, 2011. The shooting of the film started last year.
