Pawan thanked Trivikram for Jalsa Making his first public appearance after more than 10 months, Power Star Pawan Kalyan created a sensation at the music launch of his upcoming film, `Attarintiki Daaredhi', held in Hyderabad.
His presence livened up the proceedings for the hooting fans who attended the audio function, notwithstanding the incessant rains, in big numbers.
Much to the joy of his fans, the reticent actor who couldn't speak a word for nearly one minute due to the roaring cheers of them, uttered a dialogue from the film not before suggesting that he still gets a novel feeling on the sets.
'I still get jitters on the sets but somehow, I muster confidence and just go with the vision of the director,' he said.
The actor also recollected how he went into a slumber when director Trivikram first narrated a subject to him nearly a decade ago.
'After `Johnny' flopped, I was not in a mood to listen to scripts but people around me pointed out that a certain Trivikram wanted me to hear a script for the past six months. I finally said yes and when he narrated the story to me, I slept,' he smiled and added, 'But he went back smiling and came back with `Jalsa' script.
When I was going through personal crisis, he like you (fans), stood like a rock besides me.' He also said that his friend Ali who co-anchored the show is his `heart'.
Trivikram pointed out that the actor just believes in work. 'When I went to meet him after his brother's party (Praja Rajyam) lost elections, he was level headed. When I asked whether he was not depressed, he said, `Fighting the war is in your hands, not the win'.'
The director ace also said that he was in a dilemma coming to the title of the film. 'I had my doubts whether he will accept the soft title, `Attarintiki Daaredhi'. But Pawan said since the story is on the similar lines I should go ahead with it,' he said.
Actress Nadhiya who plays Samantha's mother in the film launched the audio CD while Brahmanandam accepted the first copy. Besides the lead cast, other actors like Kota Sreenivas Rao, Brahmaji, MS Narayana, Srinivas Reddy, Venu, Dhanraj, Hamsa Nandini and Mumtaz were also seen at the gathering.
