Yevadu' will be a trend setter: Dil Raju
Starring Ram Charan, Shruti Haasan and Amy Jackson in the lead roles, `Yevadu', which has been in production for over 18 months, will be releasing this July 31.
Speaking about the film, producer Dil Raju said that it will be a trend setter. 'It has the elements to be a trend setter. It will take director Vamsi Paidipally to the next level. The patch work has been completed on Mon day,' he said. He also remembered how Vamsi bowled him with the films script.
'When he gave the first 45 minutes narration, I said it was wonderful. He is the only director on Sri Venkateshwara Creations who has done three films on the trot. He has toiled very hard to make the film what it is right now. It's his film all the way,' he said.
When quizzed about competing with Pawan Kalyan's 'Attarintiki Daaredhi' which releases a week after 'Yevadu', he said, 'I expect 'Yevadu' to be a 'Gadar' and 'Attarintiki Daaredhi' to be a 'Lagaan'. Both the Bollywood films released on the same day but turned out to be blockbusters,' he stated.
Vamsi on the other hand said that if not for Allu Arjun, who is playing a role which lasts for 10 minutes, 'he wouldn't have done the film'. 'I expect the film to give me and my team lots of memories once it hits the screens,' he said.
