Jayalalitha likely to attend Tejaswini's wedding With superstar Nandamuri Bala Krishna required to participate in the shooting of his yet-titled venture with Boyapati Sreenu from August 22 in Hyderabad, he is pulling all stops to ensure that his second daughter Tejaswini's wedding turns out to be a visual spectacle this Wednesday morning in Hyderabad. She will be tying the knot to Sribharat, grandson of MVVS Murthi, former TDP MP and founder of GITAM institutions.
'If TDP, the party that he represents, sent invitations to central leaders like AB Bardhan and Sitaram Yechury among others, the actor personally met Gujarat Chief Minister Narendra Modi last Sunday and invited him to the wedding.
Invitations to AP CM Kiran Kumar Reddy and his cabinet colleagues were also dispatched. Tamil Nadu CM Jayalalithaa too is expected to attend the ceremony. YS Jagan and family has been sidelined,' said a source.
The source added, 'Balayya has personally met and handed over invitations to his cine peers like Rajinikanth, Chiranjeevi, Nagarjuna, Venkatesh, Mohan Babu and Jagapathi Babu among other industry bigwigs.
From small time directors to big directors, he rang them up and asked for their presence. To the places he was unable to visit, owing to his busy schedule, he has sent his family members. More than 40,000 people will attend the wedding.'
With preparations already in full swing at his Jubilee Hills residence, the mandap too at Hitex is almost on the verge of completion. Noted Tollywood art director Anand Sai, who in the past has decorated the mandaps of NTR, Allu Arjun and Ram Charan, has been roped into design the wedding venue.
Said a source close to Anand Sai, 'What he is doing right now is in complete contrast to what he had done for NTR, Arjun and Charan. The mandapam would be 30 feet high and will weigh 2 tons.
He is taking the support of an industrial crane to do the touchings. The mandap and its surrounding will be in golden colour. Flowers are imported from Australia, Malaysia and Singapore.'
Since Nandamuri family is known to adhere to Telugu traditions strictly, it would be no different this time around, added the source further. The security too is expected to be heavy, as high-profile guests will be descending to the venue.
'Around 500 security personnel have been hired for the wedding. They will work in tandem with the police department. Sai is designing special seats for VVIP's,' said the source.
