Seemandhra stir hits theaters In what could prove to be yet another setback to Tollywood, a strike by the management of theaters in the Seemandhra region is being contemplated from the first week of September.
So far, small films have found the going smooth in terms of availability of theaters thanks to star-studded films dropping out from the race in view of the political turmoil plaguing the state.
This latest decision will adversely affect the small films as there would be absolutely no question of a release if the theaters were to shut down. The strike is expected to run for a period of one week.
The biggest casualty could well turn out to be Ram Charan's Toofan which is slated for a September 6 release. Testing times indeed for Tollywood.
