Ravi Teja with YVS Chowdary
Post Balupu, it has now been confirmed that Ravi Teja would be doing his next film with YVS Chowdary as the producer. The film will be directed by debutant Bobby. Bobby was the writer for Balupu.
YVS had earlier produced a film Nippu with Ravi Teja in the lead role under the direction of Gunasekhar; however the film proved to be a disaster at the box office.
It is a known fact that Ravi Teja, Gunasekhar and YVS Chowdary are thick friends and started their journey in Tollywood as roommates. So when Nippu failed, YVS Chowdary had to take a huge financial jolt.
It is not surprising to see Ravi Teja come to the rescue of his friend by agreeing to do his next film post the success of Balupu with YVS.
The muhurtam of the movie was held in a low-profile ceremony on September 1 at the office of YVS Chowdary and the regular shooting of the film will commence from the end of the month. The female lead of the movie is yet to be finalised.
