Huge sets to be erected for Rani Rudrama
Director Gunasekhar who is desperate to score a hit at the box-office is directing a project titled Rudrama Devi. He is leaving no stone unturned in making this film a grand spectacle.

The ancient village of Pakanadu and the Diviseema region are going to be reconstructed by the art department under the supervision of Thota Tarani. Recently, a schedule of the film was shot in Warangal and currently, the shooting is progressing at the Annapurna Studios.
Anushka Shetty is playing the role of Rudrama Devi -- one of the most prominent rulers of Kakatiya dynasty and Rana Daggubati will be seen as Chalukya Veerabhadrudu ' the prince of Nidadavole. Maestro Ilayaraja wields the baton of music for this periodic drama which is being made in Telugu and Tamil languages in 3D.
