Vaani Kapoor's Tollywood debut
Bollywood actress Vaani Kapoor is making her foray into Tollywood. The actress has been roped in as the heroine opposite Nani for the remake of Band Baja Baarat. The film is a bilingual in Telugu and Tamil languages.
Speaking to the media, Vaani says, 'It is difficult to re-create the magic created by the original in any remake, but I hope the film will be on the right lines.'
Quizzed on how she is going to prepare for the film as she is new to the language, she says, 'The only concern is the language as I don't understand Telugu and Tamil and I wish to overcome that fear in some time.'
Gokul Krishna is directing this remake which is being produced by Yash Raj Films. The actress is awaiting the release of her maiden B-wood movie Shudh Desi Romance that is scheduled for release on Friday.
