Sai Korrapati for new talent
Sai Korrapati proved to be a producer with a refreshingly different perspective as can be evidenced by his choice of films Eega and Andala Rakshasi.
While Eega was helmed by star director SS Rajamouli, Andala Rakshasi marked the debut of Hanu Raghapudi as director. Moving ahead, the producer has now announced two films on September 9 on the auspicious day of Vinayaka Chavithi.
The first film would feature popular comedian Srinivas Avasarala, in the avatar of a director for the first time. Naga Shourie has been finalized as the male lead for this film which is touted to be a romantic comedy.
Ananth Sriram is the lyricist for the movie while Kalyan Koduri, fresh from the success of Antaka Mundu Aa Taravata is the music director. Sai Korrapati would be producing the films on his banner Vaarahi Chalana Chitram and Silly Monks Cinema are the co-producers for both the projects.
The second project would also introduce Srinivas Gogineni as director. Judging by the number of newcomers who are being introduced to the industry through his films, Sai Korrapati is certainly doing Tollywood a world of good.
