Student-actors for Manam Annapurna Studios has announced that three students of Annapurna International School of Film and Media (AISFM) are going to make their acting debut with their forthcoming release Manam.
The students -- Kaushal Sharma, Srikar Chittarbu and Krishna Yadav -- have graduated from AISFM. Manam is Tollywood's highly anticipated movie that has Akkineni Nageswara Rao, Akkineni Nagarjuna and Akkineni Naga Chaitanya sharing the screen space for the first time.
Speaking on the occasion, Nagarjuna who is also the founder of AISFM says, 'I am an engineering graduate. Just like these people, I came from a different background.
I am fortunate to have been born into a filmi family. But not everyone is so lucky. So, this is our initiative to give such people a platform.
Manam is very special to me not just because I'm acting with my dad and son. But, it's special as actors from AISFM are being introduced with our film.'
Asked on whether he is feeling the pressure and risk of introducing newcomers in Manam, the actor smiles, 'Neither am I nervous nor am I feeling the pressure, but I'm worried about how the film will do'.
Further, if everything falls in place, Nagarjuna has evinced his interest to act in a movie that will be directed by one of the students of AISFM.
Talking about the students' roles in the film, Nagarjuna says, 'Kaushal, Srikar and Krishna are playing the friends of Naga Chaitanya in the film.
Among them, Krishna will be seen in the role of a doctor. The movie is a complete family entertainer. Every frame is laced with humour and I believe there will be a special magic in it.'
