Krishna Vamsi to direct Kajal
Kajal Agarwal has not been seen in action in Tollywood after Nayak. While some attribute this to her decision to concentrate on Bollywood, others say that she has hiked her remuneration so much in recent times that she did not find favor with the producers.
However, all's well that ends well and Film Nagar sources report that the Delhi lass has bagged a mega project which is none other than Krishna Vamsi's multi-starrer that is being launched on Dassera.
The untitled venture features Ram Charan, Venkatesh and Krishna. Krishna Vamsi has reportedly zeroed in on Kajal Agarwal as the leading lady opposite Ram Charan.
Sentiment may have played a part here as well, for both Kajal's earlier outings with Ram Charan: Magadheera and Nayak were immensely successful at the box office.
This would mark her third film with Ram Charan and the duo is all set for a hat-trick. Incidentally, Krishna Vamsi was the director who catapulted Kajal Agarwal to fame.
His movie Chandamama featuring then, a relatively unknown Kajal in the lead role was a massive hit and there has been no looking back since then for the actress, who became one of the most sought after heroines in the industry.
