Rasna girl Ankita to tie knot
Ankita Jhaveri who shot to fame as the chubby girl in the Rasna advertisement in the 1980s subsequently turned actress and has acted in about 20 films in Telugu and Tamil.
Although her debut film in Telugu Lahiri Lahiri Lahirilo, directed by YVS Chowdary was commercially successful, she hasn't exactly gone on to attain the stardom that she was capable of.
Her biggest hit in Telugu remains Simhadri, opposite Ntr Jr and her last appearance on screen was in 2009 in the movie Police Adhikari.Grapevine now has it that Ankita is getting married to a Canadian boy.
Though not many details are forthcoming, apparently the groom has been selected through a Swayamvaram kind of show on reality television.
The actress is currently based in the US and had her first break in American Television on February 3, 2013 when her Go Daddy commercial was aired during the XLVII Super Bowl.
