NTR's Ramayya Vastavayya on Oct 10
Director of Ramayya Vastavayya, Harish Shankar announced on social networking site Twitter that October 10 has been finalized as the release date of the movie.
Tweeting that this was communicated to him by the producer, Dil Raju, Harish Shankar said that they would announce the date of the audio function soon.
Ramayya Vastavayya is produced by Dil Raju on his banner Sri Venkateshwara Creations. Starring NTR Jr, Samantha and Shruti Haasan in the lead roles, the movie has music by SS Taman and cinematography by Chota K Naidu.
Given the uncertainty of the political atmosphere in the state, many felt uncertain about the release date of Ramayya Vastavayya, especially considering that Dil Raju had not announced a release date for his other film Yevadu which had already completed shooting and is awaiting release.
The Telangana JAC had also warned that they would obstruct the screening of the movie in the Telangana region in protest against the support of Nandamuri Harikrishna, the father of NTR Jr to the cause of Samaikhyandhra.
Now, that Dil Raju has gone ahead and announced the release date of the movie, it remains to be seen whether he would be able to overcome all the perceived obstacles. Fans of NTR Jr however are thrilled at the news.
