Harish Shankar miffs media
Tollywood director Harish Shankar with hits like Mirapakai and Gabbar Singh to his credit found himself at the receiving end after his comments at a recent audio function did not go down well with the media.
Harish Shankar had recently attended the audio launch of the movie Second Hand as a guest. Apparently annoyed with the overzealous nature of some photographers who were trying to get his picture, Harish had remarked, 'Ee photographarlu overaction chestunnaru' meaning 'These photographers are over acting'.
The remarks did not go down well with the media who condemned his arrogance. It has been some days since this incident has happened, but the controversy refuses to die down.
The media has demanded an unconditional apology from Harish who is yet to respond. The media fraternity lamented the fact that people like Harish Shankar rely on them (media) to gain success and publicity for their films and their behavior changes, once they are in the limelight.
