RP Patnaik hoists Telugu Flag in Hollywood
 West Hollywood (Los Angeles, USA), Sept 23rd, 2013: Amy, a Hollywood supernatural thriller directed by RP Patnaik is all set for a major DVD and Video on Demand (VOD) release on October 1st. All major channels in the United States such as Dish, Blockbuster, Amazon, Vimeo, Verizon Fios, Suddenlink, Charter, Mediacom, GCI and AT&T are releasing the movie starting from October 1st.
1980 super hit Blue Lagoon fame Christopher Atkins played the Funeral Director while Jessica Di Giovanni acted in the lead role in Amy.
'Amy is a supernatural thriller set against the backdrop of Amish community. Amish people are an insulated community with their own strong religious and social beliefs. They are people who value simple living, plain dressing and who spurn the entrapments of modern technology. Surprising as it may sound, even today they use horse-buggies and shun electric and electronic gadgets, explained RP Patnaik.
Amish is a community who submit to the will of Jesus and lead value based and orderly lives through rejection of negative traits of arrogance, pride and haughtiness and cherish the virtues of humility and composure. Incredible that they live in the most technologically developed country like America.
Shot in Lancaster, Pennsylvania, the film is a chilling and thrilling experience, promised RP, a well known Director from South India and also an accomplished music director.
Amy is a TP Entertainment movie with Prasad Kunisetty and Ramesh Nuti as producers.
Release through Red Box, Netflix and some more channels expected shortly, said Ramesh Nuti, producer.
