Pawan shows his human side Be it his anonymous charity work or returning a chunk of his remuneration to producers when his films fail at the boxoffice, Superstar Pawan Kalyan has always been known as a man with a golden heart. He once again lived up to his reputation.
Soon after `Attarinitiki Daaredhi's (AD) high quality footage was leaked on the virtual world on Sunday, trouble piled up in no time for producer BVSN Prasad.
The producer who planned to release the flick on October 9 had to hasten his release for this Friday and we hear that he ran out of desired funds to promote the movie (on TV, print or through hoardings) on the expected lines.
When Pawan came to know this, he decided to return a good amount of his remuneration to the producer to facilitate a smooth release, a source close to the production said.
'BVSN Prasad is not having a good run of late. With his last three releases`Devudu Chesina Manushulu', `Ongole Githa' and `Sahasam' failing to do any good to his banner economically, he was a lost soul and was pinning high hopes on `AD' to relieve him of the near financial crisis.
Made on a budget of more than Rs 50 crores, `AD', though, a Pawan-starrer, needs strong promotions as it is hitting the screens earlier than intended,' the source said.
Even the director of the film, Trivikram, who is also known for generosity, followed Pawan, the source added. 'He too bailed out the producer by doing his bit financially.
As soon the movie lives up to the expectations, Prasad is expected to return the favour to his hero and director,' the source said. BVSN Prasad remained .unavailable for comment.
