Ilayaraja magic in Ramayya Vastavayya
NTR Jr and Harish Shankar have joined hands for film titled Ramayya Vastavayya. The film is coming with high expectations and is generating a great deal of interest among the trade circuit.
The latest we hear is that Ramayya Vastavayya is going to have a medley of maestro Ilayaraja's romantic hits from the 90s. It is learnt that the songs will be played in a scene when NTR is moving around with his love interest in the film. 'The scene is not just entertaining, but it will drive the audience crazy and leaves a nostalgic feeling,' reveals a source.
'A medley of NTR Sr's old songs was used for a comedy scene in NTR's last outing Baadshah. The scene has received huge applause from the fans of the actor and perhaps, that could have prompted the makers of Ramayya Vastavayya to come up with an idea of Ilayaraja's medley in this film,' adds our source.
Currently, the shoot of the film is progressing at a rapid pace in Spain where the unit is filming a couple of duets on NTR and Samantha. The promo song teaser released a few days ago has created quite a buzz in the industry and has set a new record on YouTube for crossing 1 million views within just 72 hours of its release.
