Lawrence injured on sets of Ganga Choreographer Raghava Lawrence who was shooting for a song on the sets of his forthcoming film, Ganga was badly injured when he had a fall, badly spraining his neck in the process.
His wrist was also broken and the choreographer turned actor-director was admitted to Ramachandra Hospital in Chennai where he was advised complete bed rest by the doctors for three months. Lawrence has already completed shooting 50 per cent of the movie.
As the second half of the movie involves certain risky stunts, he has decided on not taking any more chances until he is fully recuperated.
Ganga is the third part in the Muni franchise following Muni and Muni 2: Kanchana. The movie is a horror-comedy and written and directed by Lawrence.
It stars Lawrence and Taapsee Pannu in the lead roles and is being made simultaneously in Tamil and Telugu. Actress Anjali of Seethamma Vakitlo Sirimalle Chettu fame is doing a cameo in the film. SS Thaman has been roped in as music director for the project.
