AD 'Thanks Giving' meet called off Having scripted a new history in Tollywood in box-office collections for the first week be it in the State (approximately Rs 35 crore share) or abroad (Rs 8.6 crore share), the makers of `Attarintiki Daaredhi' who planned to meet the audience to extend their thanks this Sunday at Hyderabad's Shilpakala Vedika decided to call off the meeting.
Was the Union Cabinet's nod to carve out a new State of Telangana the reason for the sudden postponement? Producer BVSN Prasad denied it and told: 'We planned to conduct a grand 'Thanks Meet' this Sunday, but some things were not working in our favour. It has nothing to do with Cabinet's nod on Telangana. We've just postponed the event, that's it,' he said.
He said a new date will be finalised in the days to come. 'The function is definitely on. Pawan Kalyan is keen to meet his fans and audience and extend his thanks for embracing the film wholeheartedly despite the online leak. The whole cast and crew of the film will grace their presence,' he assured.
