Ramayya... will weave his magic
While there has been little confusion over the release date of NTR starrer `Ramayya Vastavayya', the second biggest flick of the season, producer Dil Raju, as promised, has decided to release the film few days before DasaraOctober 11.
He has announced the date on Tuesday in Hyderabad. 'Our Ram will weave his magic come this festival. It will remain in the top three films of the year,' said a confident Raju.
He also hoped that Octo ber 11 will be a lucky date to the film. 'Director Harish Shankar's `Gabbar Singh' released on May 11 last year whereas our `Seethamma Vakitlo Siri malle Chettu' released on January 11 this year. Both the films went on to attain blockbuster status. I ex pect the sentiment to rub on our Ram which is due for October 11,' he said.
He added that the because of action blocks, the regional censor board has awarded their film `A' cer tificate. Director Harish Shankar was quick to rebut when asked whether `A' certificate will encourage family viewers who are regulars to Dil Raju's films, not tuning to the film.
'Even `Mirchi' was awarded `A' certificate but that hardly kept family audience away from the screens,' he said. Harish also stated that he included NTR's off screen hu mour in the film. 'It has all the emotions of an NTR-starrer,' he said.
