Amala Paul laughs off rumors
Actress Amala Paul has laughed off rumors that she has signed a new film in Bollywood opposite Akshay Kumar. Rumors were rife that Amala Paul is going to play the leading lady in Hindi film Gabbar which is the remake of Kollywood blockbuster Ramana.
Though the actress made a few trips to Mumbai for the film, reports say she has turned down the offer due to unavailability of her call sheets. However, the actress took to her micro blogging page and cleared the air that she has not signed any new movie now and also maintained that she will definitely let the media know if she signs a new film in the future.
In her words, 'Speculations about me signing a new movie are as baseless as Zimbabwe winning ODI World cup!!' Amala who shot to fame in Tollywood with Naayak and Iddarammayilatho is currently working for Janda Pai Kapiraju, a Telugu-Tamil bi-lingual which also stars Nani in the lead role and three untitled Tamil movies.
