Sana lands in a big soup
Remember Bollywood actress Sana Khan who featured in Gaganam and Mr Nookayya? Well, the actress currently finds herself in a spot of bother after the Mumbai High Court refused to quash charges of her involvement in an attempted kidnaping of a minor.
The story goes like this: the nephew of Sana Khan, Naved Khan aged 18, fell in love with a girl he met on a social networking site. After a few months, he proposed marriage which the girl declined.
On April 30 of this year, the girl was returning home when Naved and two of his friends tailed her in a BMW and tried to pull her in. The girl managed to break free and promptly filed a complaint.
It was alleged that Sana Khan was driving the vehicle, a charge which was refuted by the actress. Recently the case came up for hearing and the defense for Sana requested the court to quash charges of her involvement in the kidnap drama.
A furious bench lambasted Sana saying, 'How can you say you are not connected when your BMW vehicle has been used? How can we quash this complaint?'
The investigation in the case is nearly complete and a charge sheet is expected to be filed within a week. Sana is currently doing Mental opposite Bollywood superstar Salman Khan.
It is a great opportunity for the actress and needless to say, an adverse ruling from the judiciary would prove to be highly detrimental to her career which is just starting to blossom.
