Samntha on cloud nine The way `Attarintiki Daaredhi' (AD) is performing at the box office; actress Samantha, speaking at the 25 days meet of the film, says that she is proud to be associated with the project which is on a record-breaking spree.
Admitting that luck is by her side, she says, 'I expected this collection after 35 to 40 days of its run. It is an indescribable feeling to work for a project that has turned out to be the biggest grosser in Tolly wood. Even now it is running to packed houses and I'm still get congratulatory Tweets.'
She says she had tears in her eyes when Pawan Kalyan spoke about her at the success meet. 'I was a fan of Pawan Kalyan before `AD' released and now I turned into a bigger fan.
Even though he was going through a back problem, he went on to shoot at very cold places in Europe. The film's success should go to the three gentle hearts Pawan Kalyan, Trivikram and BVSN Prasad.'
Working with Trivikram is fun, she informs. 'He is not like the every other writer but is an amalgamation of everyone into one. He is, by far, the best director I have worked with and collaborating with him is very easy. He hardly gives directions to the actors as he is leaves it up to them.
`Katama Rayuda' song had no choreographers as we went with the flow of the number. It is possible only on sets where the atmosphere is healthy. Making videos will be a bigger hit than the film. Trivikram talks in same tone with everyone on sets.'
One of the few actors who speaks Telugu, she says learning the language was mandatory as it helped her bond with people on sets. 'If I'm not speaking in Telugu on sets, the connectivity with people will be lost.'
Refuting rumours that she is a part of `Gabbar Singh 2', she insists that Pratyusha Foundation, her NGO, has been recognised by the government. 'I did little things till now but I hope to take it to the next level.'
Producer BSVN Prasad has indicated the film is on the verge of beating the collections of `Magadheera'. 'Our film has surpassed the collections of `Magadheera', which I was a part tions of `Magadheera', which I was a part of, at places, and is on the brink of becoming the biggest grossing Tollywood film.'
