Nithya cameo in Rudrama Devi
Director Gunasekhar's upcoming period drama Rudrama Devi is progressing at a rapid pace in Hyderabad. The shooting is currently on at a popular studio where the unit is filming a song involving lead actors Rana Daggubati and Anushka in a specially erected set.
The grapevine has it that actresses Nithya Menon and Catherine Tresa of Iddarammayilatho fame are set to sizzle in a special song in this film.
Catherine will be seen as the love interest of Gona Ganna Reddy in the film, says a source close to the unit. Speculations are rife that Mahesh Babu is essaying the role of Kakatiya king Gona Ganna Reddy in this film.
Baba Sehgal, Ramya Krishna, Nathalia Kaur, Hamsa Nandini, Tanikella Bharani and Brahmanandam are playing prominent roles. Ilayaraja is scoring the music for this film which is said to be India's first stereoscopic 3D film.
