Anushka fans in for a treat
Svelte beauty Anushka has teamed up with director Selvaraghavan for the first time for a movie titled Varna. Reportedly, Anushka has performed a lot of action episodes and a couple of sword fighting scenes for the film.
Touted to be a period drama, the film is made with a staggering budget of Rs 50 crore. Recently, the film has wrapped up the re-recording in Budapest under the supervision of music director Harris Jayaraj.
Meanwhile, the makers are planning to release the audio of the film on October 27 and the film will hit the screens in the third week of November.
Prasad V Potluri who tasted success with Balupu early this year is producing this film that is being released simultaneously in 7 languages. She is undeniably the numero uno actress in the Southern film industry.
The fact that she is playing the lead role in three of the biggest films down South like Baahubali, Rudrama Devi and Varna whose combined budgets run to nearly Rs 150 crores is testimony to this fact.
