Mahesh signs a film with Ashwini Dutt
One of the most sought after stars in Tollywood, Mahesh Babu is choc-a-block with three films lined up: 1-Nenokkadine, Aagadu and an untitled venture with UTV Motion Pictures.
Now, the actor has gone ahead and signed a film to be produced by Chalasani Ashwini Dutt. Director duo Krishna D K and Raj Nidmoru have been roped in as the directors for the movie. They are currently busy with Sundeep Kishan-Varun Sandesh starrer D for Dopidi, however in the capacity of producers.
Apparently, the film will go on floors after Mahesh is done with the shooting of Aagadu and the majority of the film is expected to be shot in USA.
Ashwini Dutt has been going through a bad patch of late, with three big ticket films of his Kantri and Shakti starring NTR Jr and Saroccharu starring Ravi Teja bombing at the box office.
However he is credited with launching Mahesh Babu as hero in Tollywood with the movie Rajakumarudu. He later on produced another film Sainikudu with Mahesh in the lead. Mahesh shares a good rapport with the producer and that is believed to have been instrumental in him agreeing to do the new project.
