Manoj denies rift with Sridhar
Potugadu turned out to be the biggest grosser of Manchu Manoj's career. Produced by Lagadapati Sridhar, the movie benefitted from absence of competition thanks to the uncertain political atmosphere in the state.
Ironically, Manoj was missing from the success meets of the movie post release. Many attributed this to a fallout between Manoj and the producer over remuneration issues.
Insiders say that Manoj is still owed a decent sum by Sridhar which the latter is yet to clear. However, the producer's camp has denied this.
Against this backdrop, Manoj recently took to social networking portal Twitter, outlining the reason for his absence.
He mentioned the fact that he was busy with the shooting of his new movie and hence couldn't make it to the success meet of Potugadu. This is intended to put an end to the gossip once and for all.
