The financiers took him to court which issued summons to Kiran to appear before it. However, Kiran did not heed the summons leaving the judiciary with no option than to order his arrest.
In a twist to the tale, immediately after his arrest, Kiran complained of uneasiness and was rushed to a private hospital. Kiran Kumar Koneru, originally a realtor is one producer who has been unlucky with Ram Gopal Varma and his team.
While his first two movies, Homam and Siddham, were directed by Varma prot'g', JD Chakravarthy, Ramu himself directed Appalaraju, Dongala Mutha and Not A love Story.
Even Bezawada was directed by Ramu's disciple Vivek Krishna. None of the movies was successful at the box office. Kiran surely should be ruminating the day he set eyes on RGV.
