Mahesh in Rudrama Devi as Gona Ganna Reddy
Mahesh will be doing a cameo in Gunasekhar's period drama Rudrama Devi. The actor who shares a great rapport with director Gunasekhar is expected to play a significant role in the latter's period drama 'Rudrama Devi' which sees Anushka portraying the role of warrior princess. Currently busy with '1: Nennokadine' in Goa.
The superstar will be seen in the role of valiant King of Kakatiya dynasty Gona Ganna Reddy ' a trusted aide of Rudrama Devi. Sources say that Mahesh is set to join the unit in December once he wraps up his current project One-Nenokkadine.
In the past, Mahesh has worked with Gunasekhar for the films such as Okkadu and Arjun. The film also has Anushka essaying the role of Rudrama Devi and Rana Daggubati as Chalukya Veerabhadra. An official confirmation is still awaited.
