Kapil bowls over fans at audio release
Cricketer Kapil Dev was the special guest at the audio launch of the movie Dil Deewana here in Hyderabad. Prior to that, he addressed a press conference and said that it was a new experience for him to be a part of such events.
Incidentally, he happens to be good friends with the hero of the film and that's the reason why the ace cricketer agreed to be a part of the event.
'I bless the entire team and wish them success. I hope all those present will also extend their blessings to them,' said Kapil Dev.
When asked if he had watched any Telugu films, he confessed to having watched some dubbed films in Delhi. 'I liked the stories, photography and artistes' performances.
I have been listening about the developments in the Telugu industry for the past 4 to 5 years. I am told the market has increased tremendously for the films,' he said.
Dil Deewana is directed by Kiran Tumma. It has Raj Arjun playing one of the heroes. Krithika and Neha Deshpande are playing the female leads. It goes without saying the crowd went berserk seeing their favourite cricketer.
