Hunt for Charan's heroine on
Krishna Vamsi's exhaustive efforts to find suitable actresses for his project with Victory Venkatesh and Mega Power Star Ram Charan are finally coming to an end.
The acclaimed maker who was on the sentry for a new girl opposite Venky, we hear, has finally settled for Nayantara. It would be the third time that Nayan, who has raised many eyebrows recently by pairing up with ex-lover Simbu for a new Tamil flick, would be romancing Venky. The duo's chemistry in films like `Lakshmi' and `Tulasi' has found many admirers.
'It has been a hunt that has not yielded fruitful results. Vamsi was keen on a new face for Venky but he couldn't get anyone who fits the bill.
He dropped the idea and had to pre fer Nayan who was more than glad to adjust her calendar for the film.
Venky too endorsed her. Anjali's name was also considered but since she already romanced the Superstar twice in one year (`SVSC' and `Masala'), she was not preferred,' said a source. Interestingly, Nayan is already confirmed for Venky's an other film `Radha' which is ex pected to take off next year.
The source, however, added that Ram Charan would be getting a new actress opposite him at any cost. 'To begin with, Kajal Aggarwal was considered for the film but she attracted few takers from the film's unit.
Vamsi is firm on a new girl for Cherry,' said the source by adding that a new model is almost on the verge of being finalised for Cherry. The project, a family drama, will go on floors in January. Bandla Ganesh will be producing it under Parameswara Art Productions.
